Good Manufacturing Practices

GMPs refer to Good Manufacturing Practices which are defined regulations that apply to all aspects
of commercial manufacturing operations. It covers premises, people, products, processes and
procedures such as quality assurance, staff training, cleaning and maintenance, distribution and
many other areas.

For regional agro-processors, compliance with GMP requirements helps to improve operational
efficiency, establish brand reputation and recognition, and demonstrate a willingness to achieve a
level of quality that meets or exceeds established safety and quality standards.
