AN ACT to provide for the establishment of a Food Safety Authority to regulate food safety and quality of food produced, sold, stored, distributed, imported into and exported from Grenada and to provide for the registration and licensing of food business.
This Act may be cited as the Food and Drugs Act.

The Grenada Bureau of Standards (GDBS) is the main entity responsible for and driving the development of Grenada’s National Quality Infrastructure. GDBS was established by Standards Act of 1989 and is a body corporate within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development.
